The union says that because of the type and nature of the sheep in Central Otago, daily tallies drop by 100 in comparison with other districts. The union’s attempt for an across-the-board 15 per cent increase in recognition of this was “flatly refused.” said the union’s field officer, Mrs Sheila Docherty.
