Shivaree for Brisbane
PA Auckland The connections of Shivaree are going ahead with plans to run him in the Brisbane Cup. One of the > two owners, Mr Bob Black, of Auckland, said yesterday that air transport for the horse to Australia was already being arranged. . Shivaree will start in the Founders’ Plate at Te Rapa on Saturday and, all going well, will be flown to Sydney next week, perhaps on Tuesday. In Brisbane, Shivaree will .be in the care of Paul O’Sullivan, a son of the trainer, Dave O’Sullivan, who will join them later. Paul O’Sullivan is already in Brisbane with another of the stable’s horses. Golden Rhapsody, a candidate also for the big Queensland winter carnivals. !
