Thames Valley dispute
NZPA Paeroa Thames Valley rugby officials will meet again tomorrow in an attempt to resolve the dispute with some of their players. The 21 players who went on the four-match tour of Australia decided last week not to make themselves available for the union because of a disagreement with the coach, Dave Jones, who
had left the Australian tour after the first match. Ten subsequently changed their minds and have been included in the Thames Valley side to play Counties at Paeroa today. But the others stand by their decision, although one of the players had earlier said he would not be available for representative rugby this year.
