13.5 p.c. wage rise
Christchurch drivers ■ employed by the St John Ambulance Association ! have won a 13.5 per cent wage increase on top of last year’s 4 per cent general wage order. The ambulance drivers’ award has also . been, restruc-
tured to give all drivers shifts involving two days and two nights on duty, followed by four days off duty. Previously, half the drivers were on that shift basis and the rest worked eight-hour shifts. -•? -"
