Creche fees to rise
Cathedral Square creche charges will rise on Monday, from 70c to 80c an hour for one child. The Christchurch City Council said that the creche was expensive to run, and the increase might add about 15 per cent to revenue this financial year. A maximum of- $1.40 an hour will be charged, for three or more children in a family.. . Vouchers to reduce charges will be available to the needy through Council for Child and Family Service agencies, and other welfare organisations.
