Welfare grants
PA Wellington The Welfare Services Distribution- fnmmittee has approved grants for organisation and individuals totalling nearly $537,000 at its first meeting for 1981. Specific projects of the International Year of the Disabled will receive $28,000. Other national organisations receiving grants are: Richmond Fellowship of New' Zealand ($10,000): Council for Recreation and Sport ($20,000); Society for the Intellectually Handicapped ($50,000); Maori Women’s Welfare League ($2000); Red Cross ($20,000); Council of Civil Liberties ($1000); Workers Educational Association ($1000); Citizens Advice" Bureau ($1000); Crinnled Children Society ($4800); Federation of Voluntary Welfare Organisations ($10,000); Family Planning Association ($1000); National Marriage Guidance Council ($70,000).
