A special committee reviewing the controversial east Christchurch power pylon proposal will consider about 60 public submissions. •The transmission line would stretch through residential areas and plantation land between Bromley and Marshland.
Representatives of the Electricity Division, the Municipal Electricity Department, the Christchurch City Council, the Waimairi County Council, and the Nature Conservation Council will sit on the committee, which will report direct to the Electricity Division’s head office in Wellington.
