Usually races well on this course so must be included among the possibilities. P. Young 8 1807 TYSTAR (1) 10. Won at Ashburton last month but efforts in three starts meantime have not been up to the same standard. S. Henderson 9 8000 TONGUE TWISTER (2) 10. Struck a solid patch of form in December when he won three consecutive races but latest efforts leave much to be desired. M. de Filippi 10 6940 DREAMY DRAGON (3) 10. Has been off the winning list too long to be regarded as one of the stronger hopes. C. de Filippi 11 2901 LORD BRANDON (4) 10. Weak showing on this course last Wednesday week but different proposition altogether at Forbury Park last Saturday night when he won with powerful finish. Never one to leave out. R. Kennedy 12 4111 ZABADAK (5) 10. Has made swift progress through the classes in the south in recent weeks and looks well above average. Tough test here should not be out of depth. J.
