Applications for backdated rebates under the South Island 25 per cent electricity concession scheme will now be accepted until the end of this month, g The scheme is open to .1 South Island enterprises s engaged in manufacturing, i providing tourist accommodation, and non-tradi-tional farming ajid horti- { cultural activities. Rebates . of 25 per cent of the cost of . eligible electricity use are t obtainable. 5 Claims for rebates backt dated to April 1, 1980, when ; the scheme started, will be ’received until March 31, , through an amendment to j the scheme announced , yesterday by the Minister of ; Regional Development (Mr . Birch).
