PA Wellington An executive member of the Auckland Trades Council Mr A. O’Neill, will oppose Mr J. P. Anderton for the presidency of the Labour Party at the party’s annual conference in Wellington from May 11 to 14. Nominations for party ports were announced by the party’s secretary, Mr J. A. Wvbrow, yesterday. Mr O’Neill is a trade-union organiser, an executive memRegional Council, and a reber of the Auckland Labour gional representative, of the New Zealand Labour Council. ■ Sixty nominations have been received for the 15 positions which will go to ballot at the conference. The senior vice president, Mr S. McCaffley, will be reelected unopposed but the junior vice-president, Mr D. Duggan has six contenders for the position he has held
