Girl dies in fire
PA ■" Auckland . A intellectually handicapped girl was burned to death when her home was destroyed by fire at Kawhia on Sunday afternoon. She was Tracy Langdon, aged 12, a daughter of Mr and Mrs < , W. Langdon. The seat of the fire was in the kitchen and according ot the police an older daughter, also,in the house at the
time, was beaten back by the severity of the. flames when she tried to go to her sister’s rescue. . The 70-year-old home was beyond saving as it was ablaze from end to end when the Kawhia Volunteer Fire Brigade arrived within minutes of receiving the ca 11... •-
