Turnbull sails in
NZPA Melbourne Wendy Turnbull, of Queensland, yesterday sailed into the quarter-finals of the Australian women’s open championships at Kooyong. Miss Turnbull, No. 6 seed, celebrated her twenty-eighth
birthday yesterday with a 6-4, 6-2, victory over England’s Sue Barker. She now faces the winner of the third round match between Holland’s Betty Stove and .the No. 7 seed, Pam , Shriver, of the United i States.
