Quiet N.Z. market
Trading was quiet and firm on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, after investors had anticipated much of what the mini-Budget contained. D.1.C., Lion Breweries, Smith Biolab. and T. J. Edmonds gained on reports, and Nuhaka and Bridgevale firmed on speculation. N.Z. Forest Products lost 10c of its 11c Tuesday increase to close at 430 c, and Crown, Waitaki N.Z.R., and Wattie eased.
