Thieves’ $l2,000 haul
Christchurch detectives are investigating the theft of more than $12,000 worth of gOods from Dingwall and Paulger,’ Ltd,, at 384 Ferry Road. .
Die grocery and hardware firm , was broken into some time during the weekend, but the burglary was not discovered-until staff arrived yesterday morning.
The haul included 18 big cartons of cigarettes — not the small cartons which are sold by retailers — and a quantify* of electrical appliances , and household items.. vy <*■„'’ ' I The police believe that! a van or small truck wash used to carry the goodsj’ away. !
