Chance to vote on tour
North Canterbury rugby players will be given a chance to vote on whether they favour the proposed tour by the Springboks next year. This will be done at the annual meeting of the subunion, usually held at Rangiora in February. The sub-union management comm;' .e, has decided
to get the “grass roots” feeling of the rugby players in the district. The management committee will ask clubs to discuss the tour at their annual meetings to have their delegate*- prepared to vote on ’.he issue at the subunion annual meeting, where a vote will be taken without discussion.
