Boxer punches cripple
NZPA Suva The Fiji middleweight boxing champion, Nemani Waka, was fined $25 in court at Lautoka yesterday for punching a 50-year-old crippled woman in a dispute over a toil Waka admitted he had assaulted Vaseva Kidinacagih during an argument after
friends had dug a ho J e for a new toilet on her block, next loor to the boxer’s home. The victim has one leg amputated at the thigh and uses crutches. Waka told the court he regretted the incident, but also said that the woman had hit him with a walking stick.
