Last burglary
PA Auckland After five burglaries in three months, a Glendene businessman, Mr Graham Glamuziner, says that he has had enough and will close his electrical-goods shop. Early yesterday, burglars took a mixed bag of portable television sets, cassettes, and a stereo system together valued at between $4OOO and $5OOOAt 2.30 a.m. Mr Glamuziner was working in his clock factory, about 10m from the electrical shop, when he heard the sound of breaking glass and the burglar alarm. “1 saw two men outside the shop beside a car and I think there was another
man inside the shop," hesaid. “They were carrying what looked like crowbars, so 1 went back to the fae-. tory and called thes police.” & Mr Glamuzlner said he’ believed that the latest burglary might be- eon-' •lected with the third one, which was executed In the .* .ame way. . “The thieves chose what' hey wanted. They had obviously been in the place before and knew their way round.” Mr Glamuzlner is still completing the insurance claims for the last two burglaries. The five burglaries have cost him $30,000 in stock losses , and damage to the shop.
