PA Wellington Bank Officers’ Union assessors say the industry owes members a 20 per cent pay increase.

The second option was the view held by all district committees that made submissions to the assessors.
Members are being asked to make known their views of award negotiations. The union expects to lodge its
award claims before Christ*: mas and is due to go into) conciliation talks in; February. Banks have been making j. record profits during the last t few years, the article says. J Each staff member, it says,, is individually making amuch greater contribution to? their bank’s profit — total ■ transactions handled have risen about 100 per cent during the last decade.
