Offer of ‘Ram’ charity
The work of compiling the ) 1981 edition of “Ram.” the • controversial Lincoln College capping magazine. has I begun, and the students are (looking for ’“worthy charities” to receive 10 per cent of the gross profits. The magazine has had a checkered time ove'r recent vears, culminating in last year's attempt by Cr New[ton Dodge to curb Christchurch City sales.
At the last weekly meeting of the Students’ Association executive an editor, Mr C. Brosnahan and a business manager. Mr B. Thorrold, were appointed to organise the magazine’s production.
The students' president Mr D. J. Shaw, said that most of the profits would be directed into student facilities. He asked any charitable body requiring financial assistance to get in touch with the Lincoln College Students’ Association.
