Hair seminar off
A seminar for hairdressers, featuring the New Zealand entrants in the recent World Cup competition, was to have been held at the Chateau Regency last evening but was postponed, in spite of 160 tickets having been sold, because the troupe’s tour had not attracted similar support in the North Island.

at the World Cup and ./a showing of the latest European trends in hairdressing had been planned. 5 A spokesman for, thfc sponsor, Sonata Laboratories, said that the show had been postponed because it would have been uneconomic to bring the party of 10 to the South island when the tour would not be profitable in the North Island. Another date might be arranged before Christmas.
