I. Schwamm injured
The West Melton trainer, Ivan Schwamm, will be out of action for some weeks. He suffered a broken wrist when a horse swung round sharply as he was leading it into a stall at Motukarara this week. Schwamm qualified two pacers for races on October 4. Another member of his team, Johnora, qualified for the race for trotters. He was driven by Ross Payne.
