Fluoridation
Sir, — I find Margaret Heaps’s letter (September 18) on the fluoridation issue both amusing and sad. Presumably an advocate of false teeth, she does not seem to realise the implications toothless mouths have on the romantic individuals who have entered marriage. Perhaps this is the reason for New Zealand’s rising divorce rate. — Yours, etc., MICHAEL J. VERSTAPPEN. September 19, 1980.
