Driver ‘comfortable’
The Finnish rally driver, Pentti Airikkala, remains in Christchurch Hospital. He has been in hospital for seven days, after a crash near Windwhistle, during one of the last stages of the ■l9BO Motogard international rally, A man who was admitted to the hospital after a motor accident in Christchurch on Saturday, has since been discharged. He is Vaiula Lerni, aged 29.
Mark James O’Sullivan, who suffered head and .chest injuries in the same accident and was admitted in a serious condition, is now fairly comfortable. . ? Kim Sullivan, a young Australian woman who was injured in a ski-ing accident on Mount Hutt on Saturday, is in a fairly comfortable condition in Princess Margaret Hospital. «
