Land to be declared
PA Wellington Anybody elected to a local authority will have to declare their land holdings under a Labour government, according to Labour’s new policy on local government. All elected local authority representatives would have to declare their holdings and any interest in land before they assumed office. A register of all such declarations would be retained by the principal officer of the authority and would be a public document.
