Napier wool sells well
pA -- Napier Prices at the Napier wool sale yesterday w.ere in sellers’ favour compared with Thursday’s Dunedin sale. The Wool Board was not as active as at other recent sales, bidding on only 38 per cent of the offering and buying only 10 per cent, mainly poorer-stylc oddments.
The offering included big quantities of various crushing types, a small quantity of second-shear and new-sea-son ewe fleece, plus a larger than q’sual quantity of hogget’ fldece for this time of the season. ;-b

land carpet mills bought much of the crutchings. The adjusted weighted average selling price was 253.01 a kilogram.
