Police car follows train
■ ■ -■ •' ■ ■< ■. A police car followed the Greyniouth • Christchurch passenger train from Darfield to Rolleston last evening after a report of a disturbance on the train. A guard sought police assistance from a rest stop at Springfield. Two young men were believed to be involved in the reported incidents. A police car met the train at Darfield at 10.45 p.m., and an officer boarded the train to speak to the pair. They were allowed to remain on board, but the police car followed the train to Rolleston. There was no further incident.
