Interested in getting into management? “Women Into Management” is a four-hour, Christchurch seminar which aim" to encourage women to take the initiative to prepare themselves for a role in management. The organisers, the Canterbury division of the New Zealand Institute of Management expect women who are interested in preparing themselves for a management career, to attend. And those managers who are interested in preparing and promoting women for management;
Major Issues discussed will be the factors affecting the entry of women
into management (your attitude and commitment and that of others); preparation for management (setting goals, preparation, family and career); selfmarketing (marketing your skills); practical aspects (problems and practical solutions). All four speakers are women in management: Miss Leanne Tattle, Ms Diana Shand, Mrs Fay Baird, and Mrs Jill Wilde. The chairman is Mr Mark Ballantyne, president of the division. . .. The seminar will be held on Monday, September 15, at Management House, 307 Madras Street, from 5.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. Cost $2O, A.N.Z.I.M. members, $lB (meal included). -■
