Ice skating gold medal
The brother and sister combination of Alan Brennock and Ann BrennockTranter (Canterbury) nave become the first New Zealand pair to be awarded the gold medal for dancing in ice skating. . The Christchurch couple performed their four compulsory dances and one dance to an original set pattern. before three judges (Mr Dick Disney, Auckland, and Mesdames Pam Hewinson and Jeanne Begej, both Christchurch - ).
