N.Z. golfer equal tenth
NZPA Washington Brenda Rhodes, of Te Puke, finished equal tenth in the Canadian women’s amateur golf stroke play championship which ended at London, Ontario, yesterday, with a four round total of 311. r , Cherry Kingham, or Auckland, did best of the other New Zealanders competing,
with 318, followed by Liz Douglas and Jan Scandrett, both of Invercargill, on 319. The Australians dominated the event, Edwina Kennedy, who shot a course record of 71 yesterday, winning with 287. She was 11 strokes ahead of her fellow countrywoman, Jane Crafter, with Louise Briers, also of Australia, third on 303.
