Huntsbury Spur shed

Sir, — Like M. P. Neeson (August 7) I have noticed, the latest eyesore on the

Port Hills. Both the building and comments by the chairman of the Heathcote County Council are insensitive. While agricultural buildings of this sort are no doubt a predominant use in a rural zone, surely the county council can control the type of structure through its building permit system. The council could have negotiated a better design, colour scheme and location. — Yours, etc.,

D. A. HENSON. August 11, 1980.
