Bad Luck sold to race in U.S.
. Bad Luck has been sold by his Belfast owner and former trainer, John Thompson, and he is to do his future racing in the United States. After racing disappointingly at the InterDominion Championship carnival at Harold Park last March, Bad Luck was
leased by Thompson to> Mr Frank Corbett, for. whom he was trained by Keitn Kelly. He gained five wins «nd five placmgs tor about $45,000 in stakes m Sydney and Brisbane, his most important success being the L»rd Cun at Harold Park. Bad Luck won more than $45,000 in New Zea-
land when trained by Thompson, one of his best efforts being a fourth in the last New Zealand Cup. The son of Scotch Abbe and Fordelle was purchased by Mr .John McMullan, of Brisbane, who races a big team in the United States, replenishing it each season by about a dozen horses. •
