Decrease in deliveries of fuel
PA Wellington Petroleum fuel deliveries in the first quarter of this year fell by 7.2 per cent, according to the Government Statitistician (Dr J. H. Darwin). Deliveries of all types of fuel had dropped, the largest decrease (14 per cent) being in deliveries of fuel oils and the smallest decrease (2.2 per cent) in diesel, he said. Deliveries of gasoline had decreased by 7.2 per cent. . The . delivery and . stocks statistics are based on a quarterly survey of oil companies and cover direct imports as well as the consumption of petroleum fuels refined at Marsden Point. The stocks statistics cover stocks held at the main ports, stocks en route from Marsden Point to ports, stocks held at Marsden Point, Kapuni, Paritutu, and Oaonui, and stocks en route to. Marsden Point from Paritutu.. '
