(2) Experience in chemical control of modern high merit, power generating equipment or similar process equipment.
To join a team of scientifically trained personnel in providing the chemical services required by modern generating plant at Meremere power station, 64km south of Auckland. Six 136t/hour boilers and seven 30 megawatt turbine-generators operating bar and 454 deg. C. DUTIES: Include analysis of boiler water, feed water, raw and treated water, supervisor of water treatment plant, fuel analysis, lubricating and insulating oil analysis, environmental analysis, modern instrumental techniques, < orrosion and investigations and sundry chemical problems.
Applicants lacking experience but with suitable qualifications would also be considered for appointment. Married and single accommodation is available at reasonable rental.
