Airlift of supplies to Uganda

Urgently needed supplies for a supplementary feeding programme in Karamoja are being flown to Uganda’ by the Save the Children Fund. The cost, so far, of the airlift is about $27,000, including the cost of buying the-Supplies. In preparation for the arrival of five nurses, who are to be equipped with vehicles complete with two-way radios, the S.C.F. has set up a forward supplies base in Soroti, from (which the aid will be distributed.
