Hijackers refuel
NZPA-Reuter Teheran A Kuwait Airlines Boeing 737, hijacked by four Arabs, took off yesterday for an unknown destination after refuelling at Abadan, the main south-west Iranian oil refining centre, the State Radio reported. : The plane, believed to have j 41 people aboard, left after the breakdown of negotiations that would have allowed it to land at Beirut. The Lebanese authorities refused to permit it to land, said a presidential spokesman, Moussavi Gar Maraudi. The airliner was hijacked on Thursday on a flight from Beirut to Kuwait. Two Lebanese pasengers were released in Abadan after they [became unwell. i Teheran airport police [identified the hijackers as two Jordanians and two Kuwaitis. The Bahrain-based Gulf News Agency reported, they i had demanded one million; Kuwaiti dinars ($3.5 million)! for the release of the plane.'
