Boy now at Burwood

One of two boys injured when a car plunged down a cliff face off the Evans Pass road on Thursday was yesterday transferred from The Christchurch Hospital to The Burwood Hospital. Bryce Douglas, aged eight, who suffered serious head and chest injuries, was reported to, be in a comfortable condition last evening. His brother, Timothy Douglas, aged six, was in a satisfactory , condition in the

Christchurch Hospital with leg injuries. Both boys had been thrown from the car as it rolled more than 100 metres down the cliff above Gollans Bay about 10.15 a.m. Their mother, Mrs Gail Douglas, of St Ives Street, Bishopdale, has been discharged from the Christchurch Hospital. Mrs Douglas, the driver of the car, had suffered head injuries.
