Wrong photograph
Sir, — Many thanks to Rosemary Britten for her entertaining article on. the Kennaway-Rhodes dispute (“The Press,” July 19). However, I think I am right in saying that the photograph produced to accompany it is not that of the Rhodes referred to. but of R. A. Rhodes, junior, better known as Sir Heaton Rhodes, a well known . resident of Tai Tapu district- He would have been only about four years old when Kennaway returned to the United Kingdom. Yours, etc., H. W. SIMPSON. July 20, 1980. ' [Yes, you are quite right. The wrong photograph was used. Many readers have drawn this to our attention and we apologise for the mistake. — Editor]
