Homes for handicapped
The Minister of : Health (Mr Gair) has approved plans for four five-bed ; family homies for the intellectually handicapped in Christchurch.
Three of the homes will be built in Vivian Street, Burwood, and one in Chelsea Street, Linwood, at a.cost of about $350,000. ! ■ < ■ Tenders’ will? be called? by the North Canterbury . Hospital Board as soon.as working drawings are prepared. ■■ The ! board expects, ithe homes to be completed by the end of next year or early in 1382.
