Musgroves charged
Musgrove Bros, Ltd, contractors of Wigram Road, Christchurch, was charged in the District Court yesterday with a breach of the: Construction Act relating to the alleged construction work at Sunnyside Hospital last March. , . The company has denied a charge of failing to comply
with the act in that equipment- used in connection with the work — a “Swift lift” system — was not operated by competent workmen.
The alleged offence was said to have occurred on or about March 20. Judge Bisphan granted an adjournment to September 24 for a defended hearing.
