The recent moves by Feltex and the good annual report by NZ Forest Products caused a wide range of prices for the leading issues on a firm, busy New Zealand sharemarket yesterday. Forest Products traded between 339 c and 347 c to end 5c up at 345 c, and Fletcher ranged between 332 c to 339 c, ending 2c ahead of its opening price. Feltex was steady at 115 c on the news of its 23 per cent interest in Henderson and Pollard and the take-over of two furniture companies. H. and P. fell a further 15c to 340 c. U.E.B. eased 10c to 105 c, ex the offer from Forest Products, but N.Z. Petroleum gained 25c to 130 c on speculation about the drilling rights, it had obtained off the West Coast of the South Island.
