Russell Coutts second
PA Wellington Russell Coutts, of Auckland, finished second in a fleet of 175 starters in the North American Laser championships at Traverse City, Michigan yesterday. Other New Zealand yachtsmen were well up to the
front at the conclusion of the championships. Luke Carter (Wellington) finished eighth, John Cutler (Auckland) eighteenth, Philip Penny (Christchurch) twen-ty-eighth, and Richard Bates (Auckland) thirtieth, according to a telephone call from Luke Carter to his father in Wellington yesterday.
