Another new service to Latin America

Another new conventional and container shipping sendee between New Zealand and Central and South America has been announced by Capital Shipping Services, Ltd, agents for the national line of Venezuela, C.A. Veneziona de Navegacion. The new service, scheduled to start in October, plans to call at all major New Zealand and Australian ports on an every six weeks’ basis. A Venezuelan Embassy spokesman said that plans call for the line’s vessels to serve the Venezuelan ports of La Gualra, Maracaibo, and Puerto Cabello. He said that, as well, ports in Nicaragua, Guatemala, Peru, Ecuador, El Salvador. Costa Rica, and Mexico would also be served by transhipment. If, however, sufficient cargo was availably, direct calls could be made at such ports.
