Cyclists form assn

PA Wellington A national bicycle association was formed in Wellington at the week-end with the aim of bettering the lot of the cyclist, according to its secretary, Mr Alaistair Smith. “We hope to get Government grants for research projects. overseas literature, and publicity material to educate people on road safety,” said I Mr Smith. !

The Amateur Cycling Association, Federatiaon of Cycle Dealers, the Ministries of Energy and of Recreation and Sport, and the Accident Compensation Commission were represented at the meeting.
