‘Average’ land loan $43,510

PA Wellington The average new loan approved by the Marginal Lands Board, the body at the centre of the Fitzgerald loan controversy, was $43,510 in the last financial year, according to the Minister of Lands, Mr V. S. Young. The board had granted 39 new loans in the year to March 31, 1980, at tne $43,510 average, he said. In the same period it had also approved 115 additional loans to existing clients averaging $16,977.
