‘ I nadequate’ sentence

PA Auckland A man who was convicted of dangerous driving after a race between two utility vehicles was sentenced in the District Court at Henderson yesterday. Appearing before ' Judge Maxwell was ' Keith Manu Gregory Toko, aged 20, a scrubcutter. He was. sentenced to two months in prison and -.Was disqualified, from driving for 12 months. The Judge said he. felt the penalty was hopelessly inadequate for Toko’s part in an incident that had resulted in. the death of a passenger in one' of the vehicles.
