Market closes on firm note
ilises just outnumbered falls on the New Zealand sharemarket yesterday, and rises by a number of market leaders—especially a 6c gain by N.Z. Forest Products—gave the market a firm tone, Trading was light, over a fairly narrow range. Mineral Resources continued to be keenly sought, and rose 13c to 53c; B.H.P. also was again actively traded, and put on 30c to $18.70. Among the falls Carter Holt and Cyclone stood out. . ■
