Lions tour to South Africa
Sir, — As the British Lions Rugby team leaves for South Africa, what has happened to Abraham Ordia and his black followers. Their silence on the tour is stunning compared with the noise made about the All Black tour of 1976. I hope the black African nations will pull out of the Games because of the Lions tour; otherwise we might think they support Russian moves in Afghanistan, which are worse than South Africa’s apartheid.
