Mr Hinton held a number of senior posts in London, Wellington, and Whangarei, and, before coming to Christchurch, was staff inspector, head office. Wellington. Mr Hinton is succeeded by Mr W. J. Lancaster (right), who was manager, loans, Auckland branch. Mr Lancaster has had wide experience in the bank’s larger branches in New Zealand and served as manager, Western Samoa, before taking up his position in Auckland.
