Missing woman found
An elderly woman who had been missing from a Fendalton rest home since 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday was found sitting in a shop doorway early yesterday moming. The police had been searching for Mrs Euphemia Johnstone, aged 82, after she had left the rest home in Poynder Avenue to go for a walk and failed to return. Mrs Johnstone appeared to be none the worse for her night in the open when she was found by a delivery roundsman, according to the police. She was back at the home last evening.
