House for disabled
A half-way house to provide rehabilitation. for younger physically disabled tnale patients at the Burwood Hospital has been apE roved by the North Canterury Hospital Board. A house previously used as male staff quarters at the hospital will be used for a small group of the young bhvsically. disabled. The board hoped the alterations to the house and some new furnishings would be financed by service clubs lhat have already shown Interest in the project.
